Marriage Island Weding
Weddings are always so fun! You become close with the couple after photographing their engagement session, bridal and wedding. Then while everyone is sitting out in the church, waiting for the bride you are alone and capturing what no one else can see, as the bride is waiting nervously to see her future husband.
Senior sessions, never too late
Seniors are so fun to shoot because they are not afraid to have a little fun! If I ask to play and splash in the water they really go out all out and don't mind getting a little wet. I always save these for the end of the session so a nice cool down in this heat is always refreshing. Bringing to the session things that are important to you makes these photos more personal and can tell a story about you without any words.
Wedding bells are sounding at the Gardens
Such a wonderful location for an outdoor wedding. Very unique and love that there are many amazing spots to get great images!
Cross this one off my bucket list!
Driving down the road, not thinking about work. But when passing by a perfect flowering tree on the side of the road, I knew I had to have a session there. So, I went shopping for some outfits and asked my house models if they would help me out and they said yes! Love not having to wait to get my vision in real life! Here are a few of my favorites!
Phoenician ball room
Looking for an elegant ballroom with pleanty of space for all of your guests? The Phoenician Ballroom is perfect for events big and small. They do all the work and their food is amazing! Their staff is great to work and do an amazing job decorating the space to make all of your dreams come true! They are located in NW San Antonio at 6070 Babcock Rd. San Antonio, TX 782340
Senior Old town Helotes
Working with this class senior was great! She picked a beautiful morning and beautiful location. This is a great venue for weddings and several out door events. She gave me so many different poses, it was hard to choose only a few favorites. I love the dress and boots look for this outdoor location. She looks picture perfect on the swing shots.
Love at the Tea Gardens
Working with this awesome couple is great! They were willing to let me try out a few visions I had and their pictures came out awesome! I love when my models are game for anything, because I can let my creativity out! I can not wait until their wedding this fall to see what kind of wedding they have created. I love the Tea Gardens because there are so many different looks that can be created in one session. The sunset picture was used to create a new product that I will now be offering.... metal prints! If you think it looks good on screen, you should see it in person, it looks stunning displayed in my studio!!!
Green and Gold 2016 Senior session
This was a nice Sunday at the Pearl! This beauty was fun to work with and knew how to pose which always makes my job giving direction easier! She will be graduating this spring and has held AB honor roll for the longest time! Love the water shoots where we cold get the ducks playing in the water right in front of her! We thought for sure the ducks would of waddled off before we could fire a few shots but they stayed long enough to get what we needed before we were run off becase of a water snake in the area. They did not want it floating down towards us.
Senior Grad
Senior season is among us and I love how they are so natural in front of my camera! They know their best side and posing that makes them look their best, needing little instruction from me. This historic gem is located in old town Helotes and is the perfect setting with their georgous landscaping, flowers and big beautiful swing, this is my wonderland! I can not wait to shoot a wedding here in May!
Shining Star!
Loved working with Anthony, at a new location... All seniors are great to work with because they know how to pose and know what makes them look good... but try working with a theatre major! They can take direction and give emotion on demand! Thinking the pose by the door is one of my favorites! Love seeing moms reaction when they see their boys all grown up during the reveal!
Lady in White!
2016 Senior Victoria having fun in front of the camera. She had so many great poses to go through! We loved having the ducks playing in the background, perfect timing! She was such a natural and towards the end she was able to do a few of her own poses (the one at the end with her red hair) and it turned out to be one of the favorites!
2016 Graduate
This has been a very busy time of year! This session was done when it was still about 100 degrees out, so even with the heat she still rocked her sessions! This is Rebecca, graduating this spring, she was melting at the end of our session but didn't complain! She didn't mind me taking all of the pictures and she even through in some of her own poses to show off her personality. She gave me lots of great smiles and poses and made it so hard to choose my favoirtes.
Summer Senior Session
Here is Kara, another of my georgous seniors for 2016. She was great to work with, and loved taking pictures as do all of my Seniors do. They are always so fun and know which side is their good side, so working with me, I can make them look awesome! It was great to see the expressions from her parents... you don't realize how much your children have grown untill you see them like this!
A boy and his toy!
Here is Zach, one of my Seniors for 2016 who loves spending time with his truck. We had a quick session then headed over to a local spot to get these amazing truck shots. Love working with Seniors who have a passion because it helps thier personality shine through!
Sweet 16
Had a great time photographing this amazing teen!! She is aspiring to be a model and she looks stunning! The gardens are back in full bloom and the colors are so vibrant! It was a hot summer evening with this Texas local, and almost 2 full hours and she was awesome as she walked around in thoes heels! I love how these images came out, bright colors and all!
Bridal Session in the gardens!
Love this session and very happy with the way the portraits turned out! Putting some of the tecniques I learned to good use! The thing about bridals is I do not get to post until the wedding is over so this was killing me to keep it to myself. Enjoy!
College Grad!
This session was almost canceled due to the weather, even her hair stayed beautiful! It rained right up until the minute we started taking the pictures! Senior grad Dulce from UTSA, congrats are in order for you!!
Prima Ballerina
Here is the cutest ballerina I could find! She just started her first ballet class and loved it! She was willing to show off some moves that she learned and let me pose her as I wished. It's funny to see her take my direction since she sits in on all of my sessions and hears me telling others how to pose. She is great behind and in front of the camera. Her bother did mention that I took a lot of poses of her... I think that was a hint he wants his session soon too. I took so many poses because I wanted to make sure I had a few decent ones but then it came to where I loved them all and had a hard time narrowing it down to just a few. For example, I had two similar poses that looked great in black and white and in color. Could not choose so now I have 4 I love just like that! Here are a few of my favorites even though I had about 40 good ones. Everyone always has the same trouble choosing their portraits when coming into my studio and boy do I know what they are going through!
Wedding day bliss!
I recently had the chance to photograph the cutest couples ever! Henry and Altonette Silvas wed in Waco, Texas shared their day with their closest frinds and family. With wedding vowes having to do with tacos (she knows how to capture his heart!) and all of the wonderful decorations and love in the air, what was not to love? Here is a sneak peak of this special day!
